The PPF will greatly protect the car from physical damage and is even able to be installed accurately to complex-shaped car parts. What kind of features does the PPF have? The material used for the film is high-transmittance polymer polyurethane, which has high transparency and excellent elasticity. The film can be stretched to a maximum of four times more than the original size, and will shrink back to the original size. Thanks to its product features that it can both “stretch” and “shrink”, we are able to adjust and install the film to various complex shapes of cars.

The traditional way for car owners to maintain the good appearance of their cars was to apply an auto body coating on the car. However, even though coatings may protect the car from small scratches and contaminants, it cannot completely cover huge scratches and dents. The PPF conforms to complex shapes and protects the car from scratches and dents with its high protective force and stretch properties. Moreover, the appearance of the car will not be changed due to its high transparency and gloss.
The film is strong and flexible at the same time and has a thickness of 150 microns, which is several times thicker than window films. The adhesive is 50 microns thick and excels in shock absorbing power. You can experience a new type of auto body protection with the stretching properties that fit properly to the auto body shapes and the strength and shock absorbing power of the film. It can protect the car from various kind of damage such as common scratches, dents, or paint chippings resulting from gravels hitting the car while driving.
Due to its high protective performance, it is often installed on racing cars as well. According to the experiment which UNIGLOBE has performed,
no damage has been seen on the auto body even after running at the speed of 120km/hour.
Protective Performance TEST
We have attached the film on half of the test piece and operated the machine which replicates the situation of gravels that hit the car while driving. Then, we compared the part of the test piece where nothing was attached and the part where the film was attached.
1. Imagining that the gravels hit the car while driving, we operate the machine so that the gravels hit the test piece.
2. The upper half of the test piece has a piece of film attached on the surface, while the lower part does not.
3. When we peel off the film from the test piece, you can see there is no damage on the upper part of the test piece.
